Prof. Kenig, Dr.-Ing. Nicole Hüser, Steve Flechsig and Alexander Salten took part in the annual meeting of the ProcessNet group Fluid Process Engineering held in München from February 27th to 28th, 2018. Steve Flechsig gave a talk on " Rate-based-modelling of CO2-absorption columns with sandwich packings ", and presented a poster titled „ Investigations of fluid dynamics in sandwich packings with ultrafast X-ray tomography “ replacing Johanna Sohr from the Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf. Another poster on „A new approach to the modelling of transport processes in random packings“ was presented by Alexander Salten showing his results in cooperation with Envimac.
