Professor Kenig and Mark Piper took part at a congress that was organised by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) in Washington D.C. from July 10th to 14th.
The congress ASME HT/FE/ICNMM consisted of three related conferences: Heat Transfer, Fluid Engineering & Nanochannels and Microchannels & Minichannels. In the area of heat transfer, this event can be described as one of the largest and most important ones.
In Washington D.C. Mr. Piper held a presentation with the title „A study of the thermo-hydraulic characteristics of pillow-plate heat exchangers", which was very successful and generated great interest.
At the congress, the presence of participants from Germany was rather low. Nonetheless, there was a meeting with the long-standing partner Prof. aus der Wiesche from the FH Münster.
