Since January 2017, Dr. Olga Arsenyeva is working at our chair in Paderborn University as a scholarship holder of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. Dr. Arsenyeva finished her PhD in the National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” (NTU “KhPI”), Ukraine, in 2005. Her topic of research was: “Plate Heat Exchangers for steam duties for improvement heat and technological processes of industrial flow-sheets”. Until the end of 2016, she was working at the National Technical University in the fields of research and teaching.
Her research in Paderborn University is focused on the investigation of compact Pillow-Plate Heat Exchangers (PPHEs). The main objective is to develop and verify the basic PPHE design methods based on experimental investigation of thermal and hydraulic parameters of small-scale units with different pillow-plate geometries.
