A recently installed power display of the Competence Centre for Sustainable Energy Paderborn (KET) informs visitors about the daily amount of power generated in the Paderborn area by wind, water, photovoltaic and biomass systems.
The display is located at the western entrance of facility E and was funded by Westfalen Weser Energie Gruppe and WestfalenWIND GmbH. It’s official inauguration accompanied the launch of the project „Power to heat OWL“ in which the Paderborn KET, Westfalen Weser Netz GmbH, WestfalenWIND Strom GmbH and Energie Impuls OWL e.V. collaboratively work on an optimized adaptation of energy consumption to regenerative energy production.
