Our scientific staff member Alexander Zibart presented his results on film flow on the wavy surface of pillow plates on a poster. We welcome a new research assistant: Emre Acar has finished his master thesis on "design and validation of an online control concept for the coloration of polyolefine recyclates with liquid colorls" at the chair of "Kunststofftechnik" in cooperation with the company KraussMaffei Extrusion GmbH. Since the middle of October, Felix Funk works as a research assistant in our group. Felix Funk studied at Beuth University of Applied Sciences Berlin and finished his master thesis on " Numerical modelling (CFD) of mixing and stirring processes with different media and concentrations". Thomas Ehlert finished his master thesis with the topic "Modeling of a continuous redtification with incomplete reflux in packed columns based on hydrodynamic analogies" at our chair. Since the beginning of September Sören Bernemann works as a research assistant in our group. Sören Bernemann finished his master thesis on "creation of a CFD model for the development of an innovative separating apparatus for nitrogen recovery from agricultural waste" at our chair and will continue to work on CFD simulations and apparatus development. Since the beginning of April, Iman Hami Dindar joined the team of our chair as a research assistant. Iman graduated from University of Paderborn with a master thesis on "Modelling and simulation of the reactive absorption of CO2 with N-acetylglucosamine". In his research work, he will focus on amino sugars as solvents for CO2 capture and the modelling of reactive absorption processes. We wish him every success in this work!
