The largest international trade fair in the field of plastics, rubber and plastics processing, "K 2019", took place again this year from 16.10.2019 to 23.10.2019. At the trade fair, which only takes place every three years, more than 3000 exhibitors from over 50 nations presented themselves again this year. The main themes of this year's trade fair included sustainability and the circular economy, as well as digitalisation in the plastics industry.
On Thursday, 17.10.2019, the traditional excursion to the trade fair took place. The trip started in Paderborn on Thursday morning with a total of 25 students and some staff members. After arriving at the fair, the participants first had time to explore the exhibition halls on their own. In the afternoon, guided tours of the stands of Brückner Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG and KraussMaffei Technologies GmbH were on the agenda. Finally, the stand of Reifenhäuser GmbH & Co. KG Maschinenfabrik, where the day ended with a get-together in a pleasant atmosphere.
