X-ray diffractometer with Cu-tube, point or line focus, and an Eulerian cradle
The X-ray diffractometer from Philips (today: PANalytical GmbH) is computer-controlled, with a maximum power of 2200 watts. Both powder as well as compact solid specimens (up to 30g) can be examined. The goniometer works with the theta-theta-principle. The X-ray tube is equipped with a copper anode and can be operated in either point- or line-focus mode. A graphite monochromator with intermountable simple-slit and Soller screens are available to ensure high-quality diffraction patterns.
