After last year's premiere, we are happy to award the CLAAS sponsorship prize again this year. All in all, this was the 19th time fourth semester mechanical engineering students received this award at the Chair of Design and Drive Technolgoy at Paderborn University.
With this sponsorship award, CLAAS Industrietechnik from Paderborn honors the motivation of mechanical engineering students at Paderborn University. As part of the course 'Machine elements - Drive components', students worked on a practical design task to prepare them for their professional practice. Through a voluntary further elaboration of technical aspects supplemented by a design documentation, students can participate in the sponsorship award. The best three teams were recognized for their achievements and awarded the prize money. The quality of this year's submitted solutions was excellent so that third place was awarded twice. First place was awarded €1,500, second place €1,000 and third place €800. Performance pays off!
