DAAD Scholars

Three DAAD scholarship holders currently support the ThEt in several research areas.

Wameedh Khider Abbas finished his Master Studies in the field of energy and environment technology at the University of Duisburg-Essen. Afterwards, he worked as research fellow at the Technical University of Kirkuk. He joined the ThEt in October 2015 within the scope of a three-year DAAD scholarship and works on development and optimisation of the ORC process.

Pavel Anatolyevich Nikolaychuk works at the Chair of Analytical and Physical Chemistry at the State University of Tscheljabinsk (Russia). He supervises lectures such as “Physical Chemistry” and “Thermodynamics of Solutions and Chemical Compounds”. Within the next six months he is going to conduct experimental and computer-aided research on vapour-liquid equilibria with involvement of noble gases.

Muhammad Ali Javed worked as a lecturer at the Wah Engineering College (WEC), University of Wah (Pakistan) after finishing his Master at the University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore. Within the scope of his DAAD scholarship he is going to spend three years at the ThEt. His research field is the acoustic velocity measurement in mono-component substances as well as mixtures.
