We are delighted to welcome Robin Fingerhut as a new research fellow at the ThEt. He finished his Master Thesis about the “Assessment of Quantum Mechanical Predictive Methods for Phase Equilibria” during a semester abroad at the National Taiwan University. At the ThEt he is going to work and conduct research within the field of molecular simulation.

The annual Congress of the Boltzmann Zuse Society for Computational Molecular Engineering in Kaiserslautern took place from 27th to 28th October 2016. Three DAAD scholarship holders currently support the ThEt in several research areas. Wameedh Khider Abbas finished his Master Studies in the field of energy and environment technology at the University of Duisburg-Essen. Afterwards, he worked as research fellow at the Technical University of Kirkuk.
