The joint annual meeting of the DECHEMA Energy, Chemistry and Climate Division took place from 12 - 13 March at DECHEMA House in Frankfurt am Main. Professor Julia Riese, Tobias Thelen and Elham Hassan Nezhad took part. We presented our current research work at Paderborn University on two posters. We were also involved in two contributions from the Chair of Fluid Process Engineering at the Ruhr University Bochum as a co-operation partner.
Poster:
Tobias Thelen: "Latent heat storage for industrial applications: Development of a demonstrator."
Elham Hassan Nezhad: "Integration of PCM storage systems into multi-family houses by developing smart storage models."
Co-operation contributions:
Presentation by Johannes Wloch from the Ruhr University Bochum on the topic: "Influence of heat integration on the scheduling of batch processes."
Poster by Torben Hochhaus from the Ruhr University Bochum on the topic: "Methods for determining the integration potential of heat pumps at chemical production sites."
