The RepAIR project reviewed its progress after two years of collaboration
during a regular plenary meeting in Paderborn. From the 29th of June to the
1st of July all consortium members came to Paderborn to discuss achievements
and prepare for the final project year. The meeting was mainly focused on
the technological core of RepAIR: Updates of the Selective Laser Melting
(SLM) based high-batch repair process and a 5-axis Direct Metal Deposition
(DMD) demonstrator representing significant advances in software integration
and automation. The consortium will present these outcomes - integrated into
the entire Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) chain - during various
events in autumn 2016.
