A leading conference in the field of Additive Manufacturing (AM), the AM Forum, was held in Germany’s capital Berlin from the 3rd to the 5th of July, 2023. The event attracted over 750 experts, industry leaders, researchers and enthusiasts from across the Additive Manufacturing value chain to explore the latest developments and innovations in the technology.
AM Forum Berlin 2023 offered a diverse selection of presentations, workshops and exhibitions covering all aspects of manufacturing technology. Attendees had the opportunity to learn and share the latest advances in product features, high volume production, supply chain resilience and responsible manufacturing, as well as cost reduction strategies. Well-known companies and research institutions presented their projects and showed how Additive Manufacturing is revolutionizing the industry and can act as a "game changer" in a world that is currently volatile, uncertain and becoming more complex. One focus of this year's event was on the digitalization and Automation of Additive Manufacturing. Several presentations dealt with the integration of artificial intelligence, machine learning and robotics into the production process.
