Additive manufacturing enables the targeted integration of functions into components. At KAt, new design approaches are being implemented by combining several sub-assemblies into a single component. Furthermore, functions such as particle damping, sensor integration or improved heat exchangers are integrated directly into the component geometry in order to create multifunctional components, increase system efficiency and achieve system capability.
