As part of the internationalisation of the LWF, the closed conference took place in Shanghai in April 2024. Together with the BMTC of Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), an international symposium on the topic of ‘Smart Joining Solutions for Future Mobility’ was organised there with renowned representatives from the automotive industry. Exciting research approaches and joining concepts for the future of electromobility were discussed - the LWF was represented with a total of 6 presentations.
