As part of the IGF research project "Failure analysis of bonded joints", the LWF is working with the Gesellschaft zur Förderung angewandter Informatik e.V. (Society for the Promotion of Applied Computer Science) on a computer-aided analysis of bonded fracture surfaces. The objectification of the fracture surface evaluation of bonded joints is essential for the quality assurance of cross-industry adhesive users. On April 20, 2023, the final meeting of the project-accompanying committee took place in Berlin, where the focus was on a jointly developed 3D recording tool for the digital analysis of adhesive fracture surfaces.
