Professor Kenig and the research assistant Roland Engberg participated in the „20th International Solvent Extraction Conference“ (ISEC) which took place from September 7th to 11th 2014 in Würzburg, Germany. Researchers and specialists from various economic sectors and scientific disciplines, connected by the interest in solvent extraction, were invited to discuss latest results and perspectives for the future. Mr. Engberg gave a lecture called „A numerical investigation of the impact of Marangoni convection on oscillating rising droplets in liquid/liquid systems”.
The 21st ISEC is planned to be held in Miyazaki (Japan) in 2017.
