On March 11 and 12, the first annual meeting of the new Energy, Chemistry and Climate Section took place at DECHEMA House in Frankfurt/Main. The Chair of Fluid Process Engineering and the Competence Center for Sustainable Energy Technology (KET) was represented with a oral presentation by Julia Riese on the topic of plant flexibility in connection with demand side management and presented an overview of previous research activities in this field. There was a lively exchange on synergies with the topics of energy system modeling and Power-to-X concepts in numerous discussions on the fringes of the event.
