On January 26th, 2015, Prof. Rajamani Krishna from van’t Hoff Institue for Molecular Sciences at the University of Amsterdam visited us. Prof. Krishna gave a lecture titled “Uphill Diffusion” for scientists of the process engineering chairs as well as some guests from our University and from extern.
Prof. Krishna has published two textbooks on mass transfer and more than 440 peer-reviewed journal articles. In 2013 he received the ENI award for his research theme “Improving Process Technologies with Molecular Insights”. His current research focus is on adsorption and diffusion in nanoporous materials.
