For our project concerning the investigation of the heat and mass transfer in a hybrid solar dryer, our students Maike Waldhoff, Anna Hoppe and Viola Hollenhorst accompanied by our co-worker René Bertling visited the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Ghana. They inspected several pilot plants and discussed ideas for process optimizations with the founders of the startup G2JOSH Evergreen Company Ltd., which are now going to be evaluated by means of CFD simulations.
