Welcome Marco Vocciante

Since June 2015, Marco Vocciante works as a guest Ph.D. student at our chair.

Marco Vocciante was born in 1987. He got his Master of Art on Chemical Engineering at University of Naples “Federico II” (Italy) in July of 2012 (with an experimental research thesis on the complex dynamics of particles in Viscoelastic fluids). In January 2013, he joined University of Genoa as Ph.D. student.

During his formation, he worked mainly on microfluidics, investigating the effects of inertia and viscoelasticity on suspended particles in complex fluids under various flow conditions. As Ph.D. student, he has since been involved in projects dealing with mathematical modeling, process data reconciliation and optimization, energy efficiency and, more recently, environmental protection.
