Since July 7th, a new research assistant has joined the Chair. Daokun Dai completed his bachelor studies at the Universities of Qingdao (China) and Paderborn. On July 18th, we were very glad to welcome our friends and colleagues from the Chairs of Fluid Process Engineering of the Universities of Bochum and Dortmund. Water fun games and refreshing drinks ensured a pleasant cooling in summer's temperatures and built up an ideal setting for laboratory tours and valuable exchanges of experience.

Our annual summer party took place on July 3rd, fully affected by the Soccer World Cup. Together with the Particle Technology Group and the Chair of Thermodynamics and Energy Technology we celebrated the end of the semester. Students, employees and former staff enjoyed many different attractions, among them the performance of the three Chairs‘ own band „Die Verfahrenen“, so that the party turned out to be an amazing and good humored event.
