Our former scientific employee Sebastian Rieks took part at the “5th European Conference on Microfluidics” in Strasbourg (France). The conference was held from February 28th to March 2nd at the University of Strasbourg. Since June 2017, Alborz Manavi works with us at our chair. He studied mechanical engineering and gained his Bachelor of Science in 2010 at the University of Mazandaran, Iran. Later in 2013, he graduated as a Master of Science at the Babol University of Technology, Iran. His research interests are fluid mechanics and heat transfer simulations, turbulence modelling and nanofluids. We wish Alborz a pleasant start here in Paderborn!
