At our last visit in November many ideas for process optimizations were discussed. In the meantime, these ideas were evaluated by means of CFD simulations and the results were presented at KNUST. Since June 2017, Alborz Manavi works with us at our chair. He studied mechanical engineering and gained his Bachelor of Science in 2010 at the University of Mazandaran, Iran. Later in 2013, he graduated as a Master of Science at the Babol University of Technology, Iran. His research interests are fluid mechanics and heat transfer simulations, turbulence modelling and nanofluids. We wish Alborz a pleasant start here in Paderborn!
