The LWF has visited the research institution "InstitutoTecnológico de Canarias" (ITC). The ITC is a publiccompany of the Canary Islands government, whose activities are in the fields of Research, Development and Innovation. The technologies developed socio-economic transformation and sustainable development of the Canary Islands. The LWF would like to thank Gonzalo Piernavieja Izquierdo for his hospitality and the exciting insights into the research areas of the ITC.
The visit of the ITC was part of a workshop on the "mechatronic development" in the context of sustainability and "Smart Green Thinking" at the company ITQ on Gran Canaria. The aim of the workshop was to the development of methods of mechatronic development and their application on a practical example in the context of a "Makeathon".
