On December 4 and 5, 2018, the 8th Joining Technology Community Colloquium will take place at the Schützenhof Paderborn. The joint colloquium of the mechanical joining technology of EFB, FOSTA and the research association of DVS has grown to a permanent fixture in the joining industry. With the development of new material qualities and the increasing use of hybrid connections, joining technology is also called upon to work out new solutions for these challenges.
Current projects in mechanical joining technology are dedicated to the most urgent fields of development and profit from the funding system of the industrial joint research (IGF) of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy (BMWi) as well as the Arbeitsgemeinschaft industrieller Forschungsvereinigungen "Otto von Guericke" e. V. (AiF).
