The Chair of Automotive Lightweight Design was represented at the 44th EFB Colloquium on Sheet Metal Processing in Würzburg. The event provided a valuable platform for professional exchange with representatives from science and industry.
The colloquium focussed on current developments under the motto "Green production and AI - innovation drivers for the sheet metal processing of tomorrow?". In particular, topics relating to sustainable production processes, digital methods and the use of artificial intelligence in sheet metal processing were discussed.
For the Chair, the event provided a good platform for highlighting current research topics in the context of lightweight automotive construction and providing new impetus for future collaborations.
