Research focus
Our research focuses on electromechanical drives. Primary subjects are resource efficiency, power density and modularity. Currently, we are working on the following tasks:
- Modular electromechanical drive concepts for industrial applications
- Optimization of the dynamic behavior of electromechanical spindle lifting cylinders
- Increase in efficiency by implementation of multi-motor drive systems
- Autonomous drive engineering through sensor fusion for an intelligent, simulation-based monitoring and control of manufacturing plants
