As part of the Machine Elements Drive Components lecture, we invited interested fourth semester mechanical engineering students to an excursion to Claas Industrietechnik in Paderborn. In line with the current lecture topic, we visited the gear production facility, thus enabling students to establish a practical connection to the lecture outside the classroom. We were also able to gain exciting insights into the other parts of production facility at the Paderborn site.
