We congratulate Christoph Hübner on the successful completion of his doctoral studies on „ A contribution to the evaluation of the functional safety of spring-applied brakes“. Given the ongoing Corona pandemic, his PhD oral exam was held on Dec. 03, 2020 with a reduced number of in-person participants. Other interested persons could follow the exam via video transmission. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Gunter Kullmer, chair of Applied Mechanics at Paderborn University, was his co-advisor.
Mr. Hübner was a scientific staff member at the KAt from April 2013 to April 2019, conducting research in the field of brakes for industrial drive systems. He also spent a teaching and research semester at the CDTF in Qingdao, China. We wish him all the best for his professional and personal future.
