On 15 May 2025, the Science Forum Mobility took place for the 17th time at the Citypalais in Duisburg. Every year, the conference organised by the University of Duisburg-Essen provides a platform for an intensive exchange on current research and trends in the field of mobility, which is constantly evolving and encompasses interdisciplinary issues. This year's theme was "Solving Conflicts on the Way to Sustainable Mobility" and focussed in particular on the challenges that arise from balancing economic, ecological and social requirements on the way to sustainable mobility.
Katharina Rohde was represented with a poster on the topic of "Optimising modular products - a classification framework for circular products" and had the opportunity to present her own research findings to a broad specialist audience. The event offered numerous opportunities for constructive dialogue with scientists and practitioners from various disciplines. The diverse impulses and discussions on the future of mobility were particularly exciting and provided new food for thought for our own work. We would like to thank the organisers for the successful organisation and are already looking forward to further dialogue.
