On 13 and 14 May 2025, the partners of the Horizon Europe project Digi4Circular came together for a project meeting in Viana do Castelo, Portugal, hosted by Data CoLab. Seven months into the project, the main focus was on delimiting the content and defining the components of a potential digital product passport. Together, they discussed which information and functionalities should be integrated in order to digitally map and drive forward the circular economy for automotive components.
In addition, the progress made so far in all eight work packages was presented. Each group presented its interim results, giving the consortium a comprehensive overview of the news and the next steps. The topics presented were then discussed constructively and further valuable impetus was provided. The intensive exchange helped to recognise interfaces and coordinate further cooperation.
The project meeting promoted the exchange of knowledge and strengthened cooperation between the researchers and industry partners from a total of six European countries. We would like to thank our host Data CoLab for the excellent organisation and the constructive atmosphere.
