At the three-day event "FDM@Campus", researchers and infrastructure experts from Germany met to discuss current developments in research data management (RDM).
There we had the opportunity to organise a workshop on the topic of "Structured RDM platforms: News solutions and challenges in information infrastructure projects".
participants exchanged views on existing tools, in-house developments from ongoing projects and possible application scenarios of AI - for example in metadata capture or data quality control. Particular attention was paid to the balancing act between standardisation and flexibility.
In addition to professional exchange, the event offered space for networking and dialogue between disciplines.
We can make good use of the findings from the various sessions and apply them in our news and future research projects.
