Machine Tool Technology (Lecture)
Aim of the event:
The students have gained an overview of common machine tools. They know what the corresponding fields of application look like and what economic significance is associated with them. Students know the structure of the most important machine tools. They know how they work and how to categorise them in terms of performance. This applies in particular to forming machine tools, which are a technical focus of the lecture. Through accompanying practical exercises, students have gained extensive knowledge of the application of pneumatic systems of machine tools and machine measurement
