In Meinerzhagen alone, OTTO FUCHS employs over 3,000 people who manufacture high-quality semi-finished and finished products for the aerospace, automotive, and construction industries. The company is particularly well known for the Fuchsfelge®, the world's first forged wheel for automobiles.
The factory tour focused on the automotive and aerospace sectors. The insights into the process chain for forged parts for the aircraft industry and the forging of automotive wheels were particularly impressive. The excursion was rounded off with a question and answer session and a presentation of the prospects for students and graduates at the company.
