On March 13, 2025, the meeting of the Working Group on Forming Technology (AGU) took place at the Chair of Machining and Forming Technology (LUF) at the University of Paderborn. The heads of 17 university institutes specializing in forming technology from all over Germany attended the meeting.
The meeting focused on current topics and future fields of research in forming technology. The participants discussed the latest developments and challenges in the industry and exchanged ideas on possible joint research approaches.
As host, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Werner Homberg presented the LUF's current research projects to the AGU members. During a laboratory tour, the guests gained exciting insights into innovative forming technology processes and the chair's current research work.
The event provided a valuable platform for scientific exchange and networking within the forming technology research community.
