COLOURS: Join a Challenge-Based Collaborative Research Project

The COLOURS European University Alliance is pleased to invite PhD students, researchers, academic staff, and Associated Partners to submit proposals for our new Challenge-Based Collaborative Research Projects.

This initiative aims to mobilize our community around shared regional challenges, transforming traditional academic excellence into a model directly linked to regional innovation ecosystems.

The Alliance provides grants of up to €15,000 per project to fund the physical mobility needed for cross-border collaboration. The Alliance expects to fund at least 3 projects; additional projects may be supported if financial resources allow. This is a unique opportunity to build international research networks across the Alliance and to lay the groundwork for larger joint funding applications.

Internship opportunities across multiple fields in the Placement Slovakia Program

We are pleased to inform you that within our Placement Slovakia program we opened a new application call for students interested in Erasmus+ internships in Slovakia, with start dates between June and July 2026.

We provide students with a wide range of internship opportunities across multiple fields and all types of host companies with English working language. Our program is unique for its generous package of benefits including free accommodation provided with every position and no fees.

Summer School/BIP on "Digital innovation through AI", 25-29 May 2026, an der Ventspils University of Applied Sciences (VUAS)

• Application deadline for COLOURS students: 17 April, 2026
• Target group: Bachelor's and Master’s students, preferably from IT/Technology studies, interested in technology, entrepreneurship, and business innovation. Business-related students will also considered.
