Research Grant Committee at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering
The Committee For Research provides the faculties with financial resources to be spent on research funding. The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering has institutionalised a commission that draws up an allocation proposal for these funds (KVF). In the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, the Research Commission's funds are used exclusively to promote young researchers in the form of start-up grants for research projects (material and personnel resources).
Applications for start-up grants must be submitted to the Chair of the KVF by 31 March of each year. The funding guidelines can be found here (Funding guidelines for the research reserve). For further information or help with the application process, please contact Dr Hemsel.
