NRW Forschungskolleg "Light – Efficient – Mobile"
The NRW Forschungskolleg "Light - Efficient - Mobile" (FK LEM) addresses important social challenges like resource efficiency, ecologically friendly mobility, and climate protection. However, other different aspects in areas like medical technology are relevant. A key for the solution of these challenges is the conversion of an extreme lightweight construction of moved masses for wide uses. With it, a considerable reduction of resource and energy consumption is achieved by the use of hybrid materials with products from mechanical engineering, investment construction and vehicle construction.
