You may study mechanical engineering technology for teaching positions in combination with in form of a general educational subject. It mediates in the bachelor's study and in the master study, building up on base fields like mathematics, physics, chemistry and mechanics, the qualities of materials and the bases of the machine being and the construction.

You are prepared by the study of specialised didactic aspects of this special professional field and more in general education-scientific bases on the application than teacher in an occupational lecture. You may apply for the the master degree course for teaching positions at technical colleges if you finished a bachelor's degree (at least 6 semestres) in the area of mechanical engineering. Moreover, 6 credit points from the area of subject didactics and at least 18 credit points from the area of educational sciences / vocational education (incl. vocational internship and orientation internship) must be approved.
