The circular B2B (Business 2 Business) electronics exchange platform is an initiative within the "Circular Value Creation NRW" round table. Since 2022, it has been committed to bringing together relevant players from industry, associations, research and government at NRW level in order to identify framework conditions, challenges and obstacles to implementation in the industrial electronics sector and discuss them with regard to concrete needs for action.
Dr Florian Brüning and Stefan Hopf took part in the 7th meeting at Phoenix Contact Electronics GmbH in Bad Pyrmont as representatives of the KTP. They were able to gain an insight into production and the resulting challenges with regard to the circular economy of switches through a factory tour as well as an exciting presentation and a subsequent discussion round. As the evening drew to a close, there was also plenty of time for networking and more detailed discussions with individual representatives.
