As part of the "Rubber Processing" course, Paderborn Plastics Technology visited the Continental plant in Korbach together with students. Based on the mixing room for the production of product-related rubber compounds, the entire process chain for the manufacture of car tyres was inspected and related to the course. In addition to the production of tyres for passenger cars and industrial applications, the Korbach site also manufactures hoses and lines for industrial applications, so that impressions could also be gained in this field.
