Every year, the Scientific Working Group of University Professors of Plastics Engineering (WAK) awards prizes for outstanding work in the field of plastics engineering. This year, the award went to the master's thesis of KTP employee Maximilian Scholle, which was proposed for the area of methods and approaches for the development and design of components made of plastics by Prof. Moritzer.
Due to the Corona pandemic and the associated ban on gatherings, the award ceremony for the WAK's Oechsler Prize could not take place in Aachen as planned. However, the ceremonial presentation is to be made up for symbolically next year at the Technomer trade fair in Chemnitz.
