As part of the "Rubber Processing" course, Paderborn Plastics Technology visited the Continental plant in Korbach together with students. Based on the mixing room for the production of product-related rubber compounds, the entire process chain for the manufacture of car tires was inspected on site. In addition to the production of tires for passenger cars, industrial and agricultural machinery, the Korbach site also manufactures hoses and lines for industrial applications, so that impressions could also be gathered in this area.
