Kunststofftechnik Paderborn (KTP) was represented at the IRC RubberCon in Stockholm (Sweden) from 9 to 11 September 2025 by Dennis Kleinschmidt and Leon Schmidt, who presented their current research results to an international audience. Dennis Kleinschmidt presented his results on "Characterisation of the wall slip behavior of filled rubber compounds considering the critical wall shear stress", while the results in the field of "Findings on pinless screw design for rubber extrusion" were presented by Leon Schmidt. RubberCon offered the opportunity to obtain comprehensive information on the latest developments in the rubber processing industry with regard to recycling strategies, devulcanisation of used tyres and sustainability and to make new contacts.
