Kunststofftechnik Paderborn represented at ANTEC 2025 in Philadelphia

This year, KTP employees Kai Lingnau and Philipp Brandes attended the ANTEC25 (Annual Technical Conference) of the SPE (Society of Plastic Engineers) in Philadelphia. ANTEC is one of the largest conferences on developments in research on polymer materials, processing machines and new technologies. It offers the opportunity to attend presentations, make new contacts and publish KTP's research.

Kai Lingnau and Philipp Brandes presented current research results on the topics of powder-based direct coating and the production of continuous fibre-reinforced thermoplastics using film stacking processes. They also represented their colleagues Timm Rempel and Felix Knaup from the Extrusion group, who submitted papers on the material feed behaviour of conical feed cylinders and modelling the melting process in single-screw extruders.

Knaup et al. were also honoured with the Extrusion Division's Best Paper Award for their contribution "Improving an Analytical Model of Melting in Single Screw Extruders considering the Delay Zone Length".
