Under the motto ‘We program and tinker and dive into the world of technology together’, a children's holiday camp for children of students and employees of Paderborn University took place during the Easter holidays 2025. It was organised by the SFB/Transregio 285 and the Equal Opportunities Officer of Paderborn University as well as ITQ GmbH, a long-standing partner of the LWF. In the workshop, the children were taught basic knowledge of mechatronics and robotics using LEGO Mindstorms. In this way, the children were enthused about the subject of technology and at the same time a contribution was made to the compatibility of parenthood and studies/career.
