We are pleased to present our new publication:
"Opportunities and obstacles for industrial applications", published as a book chapter in Hydrogen and Bioenergy: Synergies for a Renewable Energy Future (Woodhead Series in Bioenergy, Elsevier, 2026).
The chapter is dedicated to the opportunities and challenges of industrial hydrogen applications and shows how hydrogen and hydrogen-based products can contribute to the transformation and resilience of future energy systems. The focus is on the necessary infrastructures, certification and operating concepts as well as flexible processes for storage and demand-side management - especially against the backdrop of an increasing share of volatile renewable energies.
