On 29 May 2024, the NIWI department invited the Y building to an introductory event. The aim of the event was to introduce themselves, network and, if necessary, find joint research projects.
At the beginning, the head of the department, Alexander Schlüter, briefly introduced his staff and gave a speech on the sustainable organisation of our event. His motto was to organise future get-togethers with as little CO2 emissions as possible; less gas, more electricity, less meat, more vegetables.
Afterwards, all the guests enjoyed a sumptuous buffet, where many pleasant conversations were held and some ideas for future collaboration between the chairs in the building were developed.
