On 14th of September Christian Held and Karina Gevers visited the "Schweißen und Schneiden" exhibition in Essen. Here both participated in two topics of the program. At the new format "Industry meets Science", contacts can be made between representatives of industry and scientific institutes at the exhibition. For example, ideas for new research projects or new networks for later cooperation are generated in short conversations. This gave the industry representatives a comprehensive picture of how cooperation with the KTP is possible. Furthermore, the "DVS Congress" took place at the exhibition. Here, Christian Held was able to present his results from 2 years of research on the topic of "Direct screwing of additively manufactured components" to an interested audience within the framework of a presentation.
