The Doctoral Examinations Board processes and reviews all doctoral examination procedures within the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in accordance with the formalities set out in the current doctoral degree regulations.

For organisational reasons, documents must be submitted two weeks before the meeting date.

Due to the current situation, doctoral documents may only be submitted by post or by prior appointment!

Im­port­ant in­form­a­tion

When submitting your PhD application, please refer to the documents provided under ‘Downloads – PhD’. From October 2022, only three bound copies of your thesis (if you have two examiners) will be required when submitting your PhD application. If you have three examiners, please provide four copies.

A valid certificate of enrolment is mandatory until you have passed your doctoral examination!
